Making project feedback count
Strengthening project-based performance assessments to support more useful feedback and better-informed development conversations.
Revised competencies gave project reviewers clearer reference points for discussing consultants’ performance and development.
In project-based consulting, feedback from different engagements can contribute to mid-year and annual reviews. The practice wanted its competency expectations to reflect current work and its review forms to be easier and more useful to complete.

What did I do?
Reviewed the technical competency content for the people / talent / change practice group.
Reviewed and updated the people development and self development competencies for all practice groups.
Tested and provided feedback on the updated project review forms.
Next steps and reflections
The revised materials were intended to encourage useful project feedback and provide a more complete evidence base for formal reviews, rather than relying heavily on recent work. I do not have evaluation data establishing uptake or improvements in review quality, so the credential focuses on the framework changes and my defined contribution.
